Are classes ever held at outside venues?
Each year, the School for Bowling Center Management is offered 2-3 times. We schedule these classes to ensure that everyone has the ability to attend. A majority of classes are held here at the International Bowling Campus. With the availability of the International Training and Research Center and the resources available at the Bowling Campus, we can offer more benefits to our students by having it at this location. At this time, there are no classes planned for an outside venue. However we do offer an onsight option, please contact us for detail of a customized course for your company.
How much does it cost to attend?
There are several pricing options available. The base tuition price for sending one person to class is $1,500 for BPAA member centers ($2,000 non-members). Member centers electing to register for a class prior to the early registration deadline will receive a discount. If a center or chain of centers under a single operating body chooses to send multiple members, the cost is $1,250 per person for BPAA member centers ($1,500 per person non-members). We also offer alumni rates for centers that have sent students in the past and special group rates for centers/ownership groups sending 3 or more students. Call for details on these prices.
Is the cost of travel and accommodations included?
Travel, accommodations, and meals outside of class are the responsibility of the student/center. The BPAA has made arrangements with local hotels and restaurants who offer discounts to students of the program.
The tuition charged by the BPAA covers the cost of student materials, room rental and instructor fees. Meals including lunch, snacks and drinks, as well as light hor d'oeuvres at the reception and dinner on Thursday are also provided and covered by the tuition.
What are some of the benefits of attending?
The School for Bowling Center Management is a truly unique opportunity. Unlike any other training opportunity available to the bowling industry, the Management School gives proprietors and managers the ability to work hands-on with instructors who have real life experience operating bowling centers.
Our faculty represents some of the brightest minds in the bowling industry. Each of our instructors can offer examples from their experiences that help translate the lessons into practice and give the students tools they can apply in their centers.
Each topic of the 5 day course offers unique implementable strategies together these will more then cover the cost of the expenses of attending. Several past students have indicated that the strategies learned on the first day alone were enough to recoup the entire weeks expenses!!!
