The
Online Training and Management Certification Program
consists of a base of 32 courses and labs that cover 9 topics. Each course is completely self-paced and designed so that the student participates in the course according to a schedule that best fits his/her other commitments.
The courses are offered monthly, beginning the second Wednesday of the month and ending the last Sunday of the same month, for a total of 19 days. During that period, students will have access to the course through the use of an online campus. They will be given a username and password which will be valid during the course period.
The courses include a variety of materials including videos, electronic flash cards, and discussion boards along with the standard reading material. There are also a variety of documents for downloading and assignments that will be completed while offline. These assignments often require that the student communicate with their manager or other personnel requesting information that will help them to complete their assignments. This communication between the student and their manager is invaluable to the student's overall progress.
The Education Department of the Bowling University will stay in constant contact with the students by way of email throughout the month. Regular emails will be sent to the students keeping them informed of their progress. The student's manager will also be informed of the student's progress throughout the month. It is the objective of the Education Department to always be accessible to the student and manager if any questions or concerns should arise.
Upon completion of the course, the student will receive an email informing them of their grade for the course and encouragement to continue acquiring the knowledge that will help to make them successful.

What people are saying
“According to a 2009 meta study from the Department of Education: 'Students who took all or part of their class online performed better, on average, than those taking the same course through traditional face-to-face instruction.' Students who mix online learning with traditional coursework (i.e. blended learning) do even better.”
